At 14:00 on the afternoon of September 13th, a grand award ceremony was held in the press conference area of China Composites Exhibition. The 2023 "Swancor Cup" 8th National College Students' Composite Materials Design and Manufacturing Competition came to a successful conclusion. The guests attending the award ceremony include Mr. Yang Zuo, Manager of the International Cooperation Department of China National Composites Group Co., Ltd. and Executive General Manager of the Organizing Committee of China International Composites Industry Technology Exhibition, and Mr. CAI Zhaoyang, Chairman of Swancor Advanced Materials Technology Co., LTD. Ms. Gan Shuxian, the general manager of Swancor Advanced Materials Technology Co., LTD., and the judges of this competition, including Mr. Xiao Jun from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Mr. Dong Guohua from Tongji University, Mr. Wang Jihui from Wuhan University of Technology, Mr. Mei Qilin from Wuhan University of Technology, and Mr. Zhou Quan from East China University of Science and Technology, etc.




Mr. Yang Zuo, the manager of the International Cooperation Department of China National Composites Group Co., Ltd. and the executive general manager of the Organizing Committee of the China International Composites Industry Technology Exhibition, delivered a speech on behalf of the organizers at the award ceremony of the competition.



Mr. CAI Zhaoyang, the chairman of Swancor Advanced Materials Technology Co., LTD., the sponsor of the "Swancor Cup" competition, delivered a speech. Mr. CAI Zhaoyang first expressed his approval of the winning teams of this competition and encouraged all the participating teams. At the same time, on behalf of Swancor Company, he thanked the China Composite Materials Industry Association and the organizing committee for their support of the Swancor Cup, and welcomed more students of composite materials, especially overseas talents, to join the next Swancor Cup.



Teacher Dong Guohua from Tongji University analyzed the topic of this competition and commented on and summarized the works of each participating team.

The 8th National College Students' Composite Materials Design and Manufacturing Competition, sponsored by "Swancor Cup", attracted 51 teams from 26 universities. The competition was themed "Connection Design of Recyclable Carbon Fiber Composite Material Round Tubes", and also added a competition on "Innovative Application of Recyclable Carbon Fiber Composite Materials". Under the principles of fair, impartial and open competition, after the fierce competition, the third team of Tongji University's Load Design Team won the first prize in the design structure category. The United Zhiyong Team of Donghua University and the First Team of Tongji University's Load Design Team won the second prize. The Second Team of Tongji University's Load Design Team, the Team led by Professor Sun from Donghua University, and the third Team of Wuhan University of Technology won the third prize in the design structure category.
The Third Payload Team of Tongji University won the first prize for innovative application. The First Payload Team of Tongji University and the Compound "Type" Talent Team of Northwestern Polytechnical University won the second prize for innovative application. The First Payload Team of Xi 'an Aeronauological University and the Team led by Teacher Sun from Donghua University won the third prize for innovative application. Meanwhile, in the online voting, the RTM Forming Team of Donghua University won the Best Popularity Award.
