Standard bisphenol A type vinyl ester resins such as SWANCOR 901 and SWANCOR CHEMPULSE 901 are widely used resins and have excellent corrosion resistance to common acids, alkalis, salts and organic solvents. Such resins can also be prepared into pre-promoted types, such as SWANCOR 901-P, anti-sagging types, such as SWANCOR 901-T, and low-viscosity Vinyl ester resins (Vinyl Ester)901-V developed for Vacuum Infusion molding to meet different process requirements.
Phenolic vinyl ester resins such as SWANCOR CHEMPULSE 907, SWANCOR 907-S, SWANCOR 900, SWANCOR 977-S, etc., are phenolic epoxy-modified vinyl ester resins. After curing, these resins have a high crosslinking density. This makes it highly resistant to oxidizing acids and strong corrosive organic solvents, while also endowing it with extremely high HDT. It can be used in some high-temperature environments, such as the preparation of high-temperature flues and flue pipes.
Brominated reactive flame-retardant vinyl ester resins such as SWANCOR 905-2, SWANCOR 905-2HOI, SWANCOR 905-N, SWANCOR 915, SWANCOR CHEMPULSE 915-HOI, etc., have better corrosion resistance. At the same time, due to the introduction of halogen in the resin system, it has excellent flame-retardant properties and is mainly applied in corrosion-resistant equipment with flame-retardant requirements.
Vinyl ester resin flake mastic such as SWANCOR 901-FLTP-6X/7X, SWANCOR 907-FLTP-6X/7X, and SWANCOR 900-FLTP-6X/7X mainly consists of the corresponding vinyl ester resin and C-type glass flakes. The anti-corrosion lining prepared from it features excellent chemical resistance, wear resistance and extremely low permeability, making it particularly suitable for anti-corrosion of desulfurization engineering equipment.
Vinyl ester resin primers come in different types based on the substrate type and application temperature. For instance, SWANCOR 984-M is suitable for iron substrates, SWANCOR CP95 for concrete substrates, and SWANCOR 917 is a high-temperature primer. When making anti-corrosion linings, using matching primers between the substrate and the lining layer can provide strong and firm adhesion. Moreover, the primer has the toughness of an elastomer, which can effectively buffer the internal stress caused by uneven thermal expansion of the inner lining layer and the substrate, preventing delamination.
