On September 12, 2023, the 26th China International Composites Exhibition grandly opened at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). As an important event representing the technological development trends of the composite materials industry, the award ceremony of the 19th "China Composites Exhibition -JEC" Innovation Product Selection activity was held at 11:00 a.m. on the first day of the exhibition. After authoritative evaluation by professional judges from both China and abroad, a total of 11 products stood out from 59 products submitted by 47 exhibitors and went on stage to receive awards. Mr. Xue Zhongmin, Vice President of China National Building Materials Company Limited, Chairman of Sinoma Technology Co., Ltd. and Chairman of China National Composites Group Co., LTD., Mr. Yu Jianyong, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Donghua University, and Mr. Zhang Lianmeng, Chief Professor of Materials Science and Technology at Wuhan University of Technology and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Mr. Eric Pierrejean, the president of JEC Group, and other industry leaders and guests attended the event and delivered speeches at the award ceremony.

At 11 a.m. on September 12th, Mr. CAI Zhaoyang, the chairman of Swancor Advanced Materials, received an award at the News release area in Hall 5.1 of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).

This product is mainly used in two major fields: on-board compressed hydrogen/natural gas fuel cylinders and respirators. The recovery rate of composite materials for gas cylinders is ≥95%, and the resin and fibers can be reused 100% after recovery. Many resin products of the same series have obtained ISO 14021 certification. At present, Swancor Advanced Materials has collaborated with several domestic design institutions for Type IV hydrogen storage cylinders for certification, and the test results are satisfactory.

The "China Composites Exhibition -JEC" Innovative Product Award Selection event was jointly initiated by the Organizing Committee of China International Composites Exhibition and the French JEC Group in 2005. It aims to deeply explore the innovative forces in China's composites industry, attract international advanced technologies to serve the Chinese market, and promote technological exchanges and common progress within the industry. The China International Composites Exhibition invites senior experts from home and abroad to form a judging panel to select the most innovative products and technologies of the year. Over the past two decades, nearly a thousand products have competed here, and over a hundred enterprises have taken the stage to receive awards, exerting a huge influence in China's composite materials industry.

The composite material components made of "EzCiclo" can be recycled and degraded when they reach the end of their service life. Through the "CleaVER" technology, the waste is transformed into recycled fibers and oligomers. The recycled fibers can be sorted and reused to make glass fiber and carbon fiber composite materials again. The entire degradation and recycling process is simple and low-carbon, reducing the consumption of raw materials. It has increased the possibility of material reuse and found a recyclable and reusable solution for promoting a green circular economy.

As a senior award in the field of composite materials, the fact that Swancor has received this honor indicates that its EzCiclo recycling technology has been widely recognized in the industry for its application in composite materials. At present, the EzCiclo series of products have obtained ISO 14021 and ISO 14064 certifications. The recovery rate of composite materials made from the EzCiclo series of products can reach ≥95%. It can be applied in a wide range of industries, including wind turbine blades, sports and leisure, rail transit, Marine and automotive industries, etc.
