In order to promote technological progress in China's composite materials industry, provide a stage for students majoring in composite materials to showcase their talents, and encourage college students to be bold in innovation, the organizing committee of the China International Composite Materials Industry Technology Exhibition has decided to hold the event during the China International Composite Materials Industry Technology Exhibition in September 2023 The "Swancor Cup" 8th National College Students' Composite Materials Design and Manufacturing Competition was held, and the competition was fully sponsored by Swancor Advanced Materials Technology Co., LTD.

This competition focuses on the application of recyclable materials in the field of composite materials. Against the backdrop of recyclable composite material connection technology, it aims to create a new type of recyclable composite material connection structure. The competition aims to popularize the connection knowledge of advanced composite material structures, enhance students' awareness of the utilization of recyclable materials, cultivate their practical abilities, deepen their understanding of knowledge and encourage the spirit of innovation. Iii. Participants and Requirements
(1) Participants
Participants must be current undergraduate or postgraduate students, and each group must have at least three undergraduate members.
(II) Competition Requirements
Each participating team must be led by a person in charge who will serve as the main contact person with the organizing committee of the competition. Participants must be recommended by their units, and the participating units are responsible for the integrity of the participants. Due to the limited on-site conditions and competition time, each unit can have no more than three teams participating and the competition plans must not be the same. The number of members in each team is limited to 3 to 5. Once a participant registers, they cannot change their team members. Each participant is only allowed to join one team. The deadline for registration is June 30, 2023.

(1) Application Time and Method
The organizing committee of the competition will start accepting entries from the date of this notice. Please fill in the registration form as a team (download from the organizing committee 's official website at http://www.cceshow.com), and send the scanned copy of the registration form to the organizing committee' s email address tianshi@whut.edu.cn before June 30, 2023. The organizing committee of the competition will notify the teams that have qualified for the competition before June 30th.

(4) Time and place for submission of design proposals and registration for the competition
Before September 1, 2023, each participating team should send the electronic version of the design draft (including the electronic document of the presentation poster) to the registration email. Before 15:30 on September 11, 2023, representatives of the participating teams need to bring the competition poster to the reception desk of the competition organizing committee for registration (the specific location of the reception desk will be notified separately). The competition works will be submitted by 9:00 a.m. on September 12. Arrive at the competition site before 00 p.m.

(V) The competition does not charge any fees. Participants are responsible for their own transportation, accommodation and meal expenses.
V. Competition Rules and Scoring Criteria

Vi. Awards
This competition sets up three awards, and cash prizes and certificates will be presented to the winners. The competition prize money is provided by Swancor Advanced Materials Technology Co., LTD.
Award for the Connection Design Structure of Recyclable Carbon Fiber Composite Material Round Tubes:
Meet the competition requirements and be ranked in descending order of load ratio (in case of the same load ratio, the one with the lower mass will be ranked first).
One first prize will be awarded with a cash prize of 20,000 yuan and a certificate of merit
Two second prizes will be awarded, each with a cash prize of 15,000 yuan and a certificate of merit
Three third prizes will be awarded, each with a cash prize of 7,000 yuan and a certificate of merit
2. Best Popularity Award
Follow the wechat public account "CCExpo" of "China International Composites Exhibition" to participate in the online voting. The one with the highest number of votes will be awarded the Best Popularity Award, with a cash prize of 2,000 yuan and a certificate of award. The start and end times of the voting will be announced before the competition.
3. Innovation Application Award: Those who meet the competition requirements will be ranked in descending order of their scores
One first prize will be awarded, with a cash prize of 12,000 yuan and a certificate of merit
Two second prizes will be awarded, each with a cash prize of 7,000 yuan and a certificate of merit
Two third prizes will be awarded, each with a cash prize of 4,000 yuan and a certificate of merit
