On December 9, 2024, with the increasing global demand for sustainable development and environmental protection, the green development of the wind energy industry has entered a new stage. Swancor Advanced Materials Technology Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Swancor Advanced Materials"), Goldwind Science & Technology Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Goldwind Science & Technology"), and Sinoma Wind Turbine Blade Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Sinoma Blade") have reached an important cooperation agreement on jointly promoting the green and circular economic development of the wind power industry, titled "On Promoting the Green Circulation and Recyclability of All Wind Turbine Resources The three parties will carry out in-depth cooperation in the field of green recycling and recyclable reuse of wind turbine resources under the "Joint Cooperation Agreement on Reuse", promoting the sustainable development of the wind power industry.
According to the agreement, Swancor Advanced Materials will provide recyclable resin to Sinoma Blade for the production of recyclable resin blades that meet green environmental protection standards. Goldwind will use these recyclable resin blades in conjunction with its wind turbine units for the construction of wind farm projects that employ recyclable units. The three parties will jointly promote the establishment of a green circular system for the wind power industry.
As a leading supplier of resin materials in the wind power industry, Swancor Advanced Materials is committed to developing green, environmentally friendly and highly recyclable resin materials, promoting the green manufacturing of wind energy equipment and the closed-loop solutions of recycled materials. Goldwind has ranked first among Chinese wind turbine manufacturers for 13 consecutive years and among the top three globally for 9 consecutive years. It is the only Chinese wind turbine manufacturer to have claimed the top spot globally and the only one to have done so multiple times. As a leading enterprise in China's wind turbine blade industry, Sinoma Blade ranks among the top in terms of scale and specialization in the industry. Wood Mackenzie released the "Global Wind Power Market Outlook for the Second Quarter of 2024", predicting that the global new installed capacity of wind power will reach 1,763GW in the next ten years (2024-2033), among which China will add 915GW and remain the largest wind power market.
This collaboration marks a brand-new milestone in the green and environmentally friendly cooperation among the three companies in the wind power field, fully demonstrating the shared responsibility and mission of the three parties in environmental protection, resource recycling and circular economy. The success of the cooperation will strongly promote the innovation and application of green technologies in the wind power industry and help China's renewable energy industry move towards higher sustainable development goals.
The signing of this agreement not only marks a new breakthrough for the wind power industry in environmental protection and resource recycling, but also provides a clearer direction for the sustainable development of the industry in the future. The three companies stated that they will continue to enhance cooperation, promote the popularization and application of green technologies in the industry, and contribute to the green transformation of the global energy structure.
