Swancor Advanced Materials has collaborated with Caper Company to innovatively use Swancor EzCiclo recyclable thermosetting epoxy injection resin RB511-A/BS for the body, combined with glass fiber, PVC core material and lightweight wood, and adopted an integrated injection molding process. In response to the growing environmental protection demands and carbon reduction policies in China and Europe and America, this innovative application not only enhances product performance but also provides customers with solutions to achieve a low-carbon economy.

The EzCiclo recyclable thermosetting epoxy resin from Swancor has solved the historical problem of the non-biodegradability and recyclability of thermosetting composites. At the same time, it features no need to change the existing production process and equipment, recyclability, no secondary pollution, and a significant reduction in carbon footprint.

The composite material components made of EzCiclo recyclable thermosetting epoxy resin from Swancor can be recycled and degraded when they reach the end of their service life. Through CleaVER pyrolysis technology, the waste is transformed into regenerated fibers and oligomers. The regenerated fibers can be sorted and reused to make glass fiber or carbon fiber composites again. The entire degradation and recycling process is simple and low-carbon. It has reduced the consumption of raw materials and increased the possibility of material reuse, finding a recyclable and reusable solution for promoting a green circular economy.

At present, the EzCiclo series of products have obtained ISO 14021 and ISO 14064 certifications. The recovery rate of composite materials made from the EzCiclo series of products can reach ≥95%. It can be applied in a wide range of industries, including wind turbine blades, sports and leisure, rail transit, Marine and automotive industries, etc.
