At 5 p.m. on January 5, 2023, the 7th National College Students' Composite Materials Design and Manufacturing Competition, sponsored by "Swancor Cup", came to a successful conclusion. Due to the pandemic, this competition was held in the form of an online live broadcast.

The competition, which was delayed due to the epidemic, still carries the dream of the development of composites! This year's competition focused on "Lightweight carbon Fiber Composite Sandwich Structure", attracting 40 teams and 40 entries from 17 universities. Under the principles of fairness, impartiality and transparency, after intense competition and on-site and online review by 9 professional judges, the competition results and the winning teams are as follows:

During the awarding ceremony, Mr. Liu Biao, Vice President of China National Building Materials Company Limited, Party Secretary, Chairman and General Manager of China National Composites Group Co., LTD., Mr. CAI Zhaoyang, Chairman of Swancor Advanced Materials Technology Co., LTD., and Professor Xiong Jian from Harbin Institute of Technology made online speeches.

Mr. Liu Biao, Vice President of China National Building Materials Co., LTD., Party Secretary, Chairman and General Manager of China National Composites Group Co., LTD., congratulated the winning teams, thanked the participating teachers and students for overcoming numerous difficulties to complete the competition tasks, and stated that the "Swancor Cup" National College Students' Composite Materials Manufacturing and Design Competition has become a distinctive competition of the "China International Composites Exhibition".

Mr. CAI Zhaoyang, the chairman of Swancor Advanced Materials Technology Co., LTD., also congratulated the award-winning teachers and students, expressing his hope that contemporary college students could fully exercise their innovative spirit and hands-on practical ability through the stage of the Swancor Cup competition, and personally experience and understand the design concept of composite materials.
