Later, the defendant Chen Xicai (formerly known as Chen Xilei) purchased resin from Shanghai Xitong Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. and affixed counterfeit Swancor brand trademarks to resin barrels for sale to a certain composite materials company in Hebei Province. Chen Xicai's (formerly known as Chen Xilei) actions have violated Article 213 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China, constituting the crime of counterfeiting registered trademarks, with serious circumstances. Chen Xicai was sentenced to one year and six months in prison, suspended for two years, and fined 10,000 yuan. His illegal gains were confiscated and turned over to the state Treasury.
