In order to address the fire safety issues of the internal combustion engine compartment, fuel tank and noise reduction cover of yachts, DHS Yacht Company has decided to manually lamination three layers of SWANCOR 905-2 resin on the surface of the internal combustion engine compartment and fuel tank, and the noise reduction cover is entirely made of SWANCOR 905-2. SWANCOR 905-2 flame-retardant vinyl ester resin not only has excellent flame-retardant performance, but also has the same outstanding chemical resistance and mechanical properties as other Swancor vinyl ester resins. Meanwhile, if 3 to 5% antimony trioxide is added to the resin, its flame retardant effect will completely exceed the ASTME-84 Class 1 standard, and it will perform better under more demanding conditions.
